Banana Flowers in Midtown?

As I was riding over to check on a Swainson's Hawk nest yesterday, something caught my eye.  Who would have known there would be Banana Flowers growing in the heart of Midtown Sacramento?  I have never seen a flower like this.  What an awesome find!
